McCordsville Barbershop is located at the intersection of State Road 67 and Mt. Comfort Road (600 W).  This is not your everyday barbershop.  You will first enter into the train depot adjoined to the caboose. While waiting you can  check out the  antiques, murals, toy trains, or even sit down and play a game of checkers.  You will then wait for the barber  "Gary" to call out "All Aboard". This is your signal to board the caboose.  Gary will ask you for your green ticket, but don't be alarmed this is how he asks for  payment. Payment is due before service is rendered.

Once you board the caboose, you will not only get a great haircut but step back in time.  Even children love to visit this unique barbershop and sit in "Thomas The Train" chair or climb into the cupola. Your next visit will be easy with Gary's haircut numbering system.  Gary will give you two numbers to remember, to ensure that you receive the same haircut each time you visit.

If you are looking for a fancy modern barbershop then this is not your place.  But if you are looking for a unique place with plenty of conversation, then this is your place.  Upon your departure make sure to sound off with the train whistle!
